Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account dashboard. When upgrading, the new rate takes effect immediately and you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.
No. bottonrline never stores raw API key values on our servers. We use one-way hashing and metadata analysis to detect exposure and anomalies without ever persisting your plaintext credentials. Your secrets stay secret — we only retain enough context to audit and alert, never enough to reconstruct.

Yes — every new account gets a 14-day Pro trial with full access to all Pro features, no credit card required. After the trial period, you can choose to subscribe to Pro or continue on the Free tier with core features. You won't be charged automatically when the trial ends.
When you choose annual billing, you pay for 12 months upfront and receive the equivalent of 2 months free compared to monthly pricing. Your subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time and retain access through the end of your paid period.
A scanned key is any unique API credential that bottonrline has evaluated for exposure, misconfiguration, or anomalous usage during a billing period. Each key is counted once regardless of how many times it appears in your repos, logs, or CI pipelines. Rotating a key creates a new scanned key entry.
